About Us

Stance

Form follows fossil.

Rex & Helix is not dino merch. It's design that emerges from the material itself — from bones, structures, anatomy, from what the earth has preserved across millions of years and what scientists uncover layer by layer.

We make shirts for people who know T. rex had feathers — and still want to look good.

Not everything has been conclusively proven. And that's exactly what makes it fascinating.

We take science seriously — but never ourselves too seriously.

Origin

Built from curiosity. Not from a trend.

Rex & Helix didn't come from a market gap. It came from a question: why is there no label that brings palaeontology and design together — without falling into kitsch or academic self-importance?

The answer is us.

Every motif starts with research. Fossil data, reconstructions, scientific literature — before a single line is drawn. Execution follows through CAD modelling, 3D printing, digital illustration and careful refinement by hand. What ends up on the fabric has earned its place.

Our references don't shout. They wait to be discovered.

Craft

We produce to order. Not to stock.

No overstock. No leftover inventory. No compromise on materials to protect the margin.

Rex & Helix operates on a simple principle: every piece that exists should exist. Not because it was cheap to produce, but because someone wanted it — and because it's good enough to last.

That means longer lead times than fast fashion. It means not everything is available at all times. And it means what you receive won't show up in a clearance sale three months later.

Because "good enough" wouldn't have survived 66 million years.

Invitation

You don't have to be a palaeontologist. But you're welcome to become one.

Wearing Rex & Helix is a stance: that curiosity isn't a childhood phase. That science isn't at odds with style. That precision and passion aren't mutually exclusive.

We love it when you ask what's on your shirt. We love it even more when you already know. We love it most when someone else asks you — and you tell them.

DNA DOESN'T LIE — YOU LOOK COOL.
